PC Console Command Cheats
Please note: These cheats come from the Far Cry 3 version of the game, but Far Cry 4 uses the same engine. Although the engine is modified since the prior game’s release in 2012, it’s possible the same cheats will work in both games. Please comment if you tested it out and they worked for you on the PC version.
How To Activate The PC Version’s Console Commands To Cheat:
– Step 1: Go to Steam and right-click with your mouse on “Far Cry 4” title, then select Properties. – Step 2: Then go to “Set Launch Options and type out one of the the followings two cheats and press the Enter key to activate each cheat.
This cheats list starts with the code to enter into the Command Console, and behind it is the cheat description.
• -GameProfile_UnlimitedAmmo 1 — Cheat Description: Infinite Ammo. Your weapons never run out.
• -GameProfile_GodMode 1 — Cheat Description: God mode. You are effectively invincible. Unlimited XP & Money
Watch the Unlimited XP & Money cheats video in Far Cry 4:
Location: In the “Shanath Training Ground” East Outpost.
Step 1: Upon entering the outpost, you will see a heavy armored enemy patrolling the bridge. Kill the heavy armored enemy with C-4 (this kill will give you 240 XP). Then kill the two Tigers and skin them (the tiger skins can be sold for 7,000 each). When you’re finished skinning the Tigers, pause the game and save. Back out of the menus and intentionally die. This will spawn you 300m away from the outpost with the XP you got from the enemies and the skins you got from the Tigers.
Step 2: Your next step is to run back to the outpost and repeat the process. When you die again, you will respawn next to the outpost. Repeat the process until you can obtain the “Heavy Takedown” Skill.
Step 3: Now that you have the “Heavy Takedown” Skill, instead of killing the heavy armored enemy with C-4 in the outpost, sneak up to him and kill him with the “Heavy Takedown” Skill. This will give you 400 XP per kill.
Step 4: Finally, repeat Step 3 over and over again until you’re happy with your experience level (and gathered money).
Have fun being awesome! 🙂

Never got to play the game due to the 'uplay' software (included with the game, apparently some attempt at anti-piracy) would never register my copy, always saying the 'Ubisoft servers are busy'. So I googled the problem and got some very useful results from Ubisoft's own online forums. Apparently many others have had the same issue (with Far Cry 4 and other Ubisoft titles). According to the earliest posting I found, this problem dates back to at least 2012 and Ubisoft's customer support has been unable to for help. If anybody's interested google 'uplay is crap' to find these discussions on Ubisoft's forum (and others) regarding this persistent problem.
Luckily I was able to simply return this flawed gem to Amazon w/o having to waste any more time on it, apparently none of the people looking for help on Ubisoft's forums were as lucky. Kudos to Amazon for watching their customers back.
The co-op experience
FC4_Hurk.jpg
In Far Cry 4 you can play co-op with one other friend. The main mission is not available while playing co-op. However, all side quests are accessible and you are free to play in the open world like you always can.
Please not that this is online co-op only, and no local co-op is available.
One thing to note is that only the host player will progress in the world mapwise. Still both players' items, money, and inventory will all be saved in co-op, but only if the non-hosting player agrees to have his inventory saved. One might argue that the game is much easier in co-op, unless your partner decides to target you with his explosives that is.
Additional information
There has also been said that PlayStation owners/players will be able to invite friends that don't own the game to play co-op.
Keys To Kyrat[edit]
Playstation Players will be able to share the game with 10 friends for 120 minutes using the Keys to Kyrat option.

Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 brings a sprawling open world rendition of Montana to players’ consoles to explore at their own leisure. It’s also filled with a ton of angry extremists that you’ll need to obliterate on your way to take down their leader, Joseph Seed. However, once the fight’s over in Hope County, Montana, you may be looking for some other games like Far Cry 5 to scratch that itch. Here are 10 games like Far Cry 5 if you’re looking for something similar.
Dying LightGames Like Far Cry 5
Dying Light is what you’d get if you took a Far Cry game and added hundreds of thousands of blood-thirsty zombies. The game does a great job at offering open-world exploration from a first-person perspective, and much like Far Cry, danger awaits around literally every corner.
You may be thinking that Dying Light is a little old-hat by now, but due to the fact that the developer has consistently added new content since launch, it still feels fresh.
The Following expansion added vehicles into the mix and further updates added bows, new weapons and plot-lines. The bow in particular is where Dying Light really falls into the category of games like Far Cry 5.
There’s also tower climbing missions which unlock icons all over the map which closely resemble the way a lot of Ubisoft games handle exploration.
If it’s the first-person action of a Far Cry game you’re craving, Dying Light’s solid mix of melee and gun play is some of the finest you’ll find on this list of games like Far Cry 5.
ARK: Survival EvolvedGames Like Far Cry 5
If it’s the constantly feeling of impending death you’re after, look no further than ARK: Survival Evolved.
The game tosses players, naked, into a world of deadly animals and the uneasy feeling that almost everything is actively trying to kill you.
The massive open world is similar to that of games like Far Cry 5 and other games in the series, in that it is wild and begging to be explored.
Far Cry 4 Open World Mod V1.10 Free Download
With the way ARK: Survival Evolved pits players against each other, you’ve essentially got 100 Far Cry villains trying to kill you and wear your skin.
Far Cry 4 Open World Mod V1.10
There’s a huge variety of wildlife from relatively friendly to actively trying to eat you, something which Far Cry players will be well used to by now. The game has just seen a full release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and is on its way to Nintendo Switch.
DesolateGames Like Far Cry 5
Desolate is another game with a giant world about as welcoming as your prom date’s Father.
It’s more of a survival horror experience than anything in the Far Cry series but definitely captures the fish out of water feeling which accompanies it.
Set in the Soviet Union, the game drops a team of up to four players into its unforgiving and mystery-filled world. Crafting is a huge part of the game, where players can collect components and recipes to build weapons and armor.
From what we’ve seen so far, there’s definitely a corrupt overlord pulling the strings which, when combined with the first person action on show here, puts it well in-line with Far Cry in terms of themes and gameplay design.
It’s the lure of the unknown which will entice Far Cry players here, encouraging them deeper and deeper into the game’s brutal world.
Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusGames Like Far Cry 5
As video game plot-lines go, Far Cry 5’s cult leader occupation of an American town is pretty out there. Another game which shares this anything goes mantra for storytelling is Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which presents an alternate history timeline in which the Nazis won World War II.
Now, while not an open-world game, Wolfenstein II is the new benchmark by which all first-person experiences should be measured. Gun-play is heavy but precise, and character animations when interacting with the world are exquisite.
If Far Cry 5 players enjoyed the first-person shooter-lead chaos which permeates the experience then they should get a whole lot out of Wolfenstein II.
The characters are Far Cry levels of dynamic, and the two share themes of a dangerous regime threatening American citizens, albeit on different scales.
Assassin’s Creed OriginsGames Like Far Cry 5
It’s pretty obvious that the Far Cry series heavily influenced a lot of the changes seen in Assassin’s Creed Origins, when compared to its predecessors.
The game’s world is altogether more dynamic, with outposts peppered throughout its massive map.
Its approach to wildlife is taken directly out of the Far Cry series, which is of course not surprising, considering Ubisoft owns both franchises.
Massive hippos will destroy a boat from beneath your feet, vultures swoop down from the sky to peck you to death and tigers come roaring out of nowhere, hellbent on having you for dinner.
The game’s crafting system has a lot in common with say, Far Cry 4, in that different types of animals yield different types of leather, which can be used to upgrade ammo pouches and armor.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is a great example of what a third-person Far Cry game might look like, taking elements from the series and mixing them with the trademark Assassin’s Creed love for history.
![]() The Long DarkGames Like Far Cry 5
At times, Far Cry 5 can feel like a survival game. When you’re caught low on ammo, with just a knife to fend off an incoming attack from a pack of wolves, every available avenue of escape must be weighed up in an instant.
Another game which nails this feeling perfectly is The Long Dark, a survival game set in the Canadian wilderness in which a stranded bush pilot must fight for survival.
It’s definitely a more hardcore experience than what you’ll find in Far Cry 5, but that feeling of player vs the world is prevalent throughout.
The best moments of The Long Dark come not from its scripted moments, but those which emerge naturally from the game’s environments.
In the same way that being hunted down by a black bear in Far Cry 5 can be a story worthy of telling your friends, so much of what makes The Long Dark tick is the constant moments of anecdotal game play.
The game is definitely a great way for Far Cry players to get into a more hardcore survival game, one which features a world just as hostile as what they are used to.
Rise of the Tomb RaiderGames Like Far Cry 5
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a totally different beast than its predecessor.
While the first game toyed wit the idea of painting Lara as a survivalist, it ultimately gave the crafting and exploration sections second billing.
This time around though, hunting, gathering and exploring are intrinsically tied to the game’s narrative. It’s more open than anything we’ve seen in the series before, with tombs to explore and dangerous wildlife to contend with.
The game features the same gameplay loop seen in the Far Cry series. Hunt, kill, gather, upgrade, these are the core tenants that the two share, forcing the player to go toe to toe with Mother nature herself.
There’s more puzzle-solving in Rise of the Tomb Raider than other games like Far Cry 5, but it helps to keep things fresh.
Ghost Recon: WildlandsGames Like Far Cry 5
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a bit like being part of a military squad sent to clean up the aftermath of a Far Cry game.
You and three friends team up to take out drug-lords, rogue militia and deadly mercenaries. Wildlands features an open world to match any Far Cry game, one which can be traversed via motorcycle, helicopter and buggy.
It’s the systematic ticking off of objectives which puts Wildlands in line with the Far Cry series, with objectives tasking players to capture outposts, destroy convoys and gather resources.
This is another of the games like Far Cry 5 which has clearly been heavily inspired by the series, something which Ubisoft seems rather fond of doing.
Just Cause 3Games Like Far Cry 5
Overthrowing a benevolent dictator is fun regardless of what game your playing.
The Far Cry series has always been one of the most chaotic ways to do it though, with fire seeming to have a life of its own, and the fact that you can wingsuit into a heavily guarded base.
Another game which captures this particularly volatile blend of chaos and firepower is Just Cause 3. You can wingsuit about, surf on the roofs of cars, and attach sticky bombs to everything in sight.
The game is filled with a cast of colorful villains which would not look out of place in a Far Cry game, and for a title released back in 2015, it has aged surprisingly well.
For one of those games like Far Cry 5 which feels a little more lighthearted, this is an excellent option.
The ForestGames Like Far Cry 5
Setting a forest full of snarling cannibals ablaze while wrapping up a pouring wound on your arm never felt better. The Forest emulates that constant out of your depth feeling which Far Cry does so well, and puts a horror tinge on it.
The game allows you to scavenge and build defenses during the day, so that you can survive against the onslaught of monsters during the night. It proves once again that first-person action has a special kind of magic when it comes to combat and exploration.
The two games definitely share an admiration for uncontrollable forest fires, which when paired with a feeling total feeling that you are both outnumbered and outgunned, create that game play dynamic that makes Far Cry such an exhilarating experience.
And there you have our top 10 games like Far Cry 5 if you’re still looking for some more of that open world action. For more tips, tricks, and guides on Far Cry 5, be sure to check out our wiki.
